Controller/Financial Analyst

Position Overview 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Controller/Financial Analyst. This unique blend position will play a critical role in managing our financial operations, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights to support our business growth.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. 
• Develop and track operational metrics across multiple companies. 
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. 
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Help with the development of financial dashboards. 
• Assist with spreadsheet automation to eliminate manual task 
• Balance sheet account reconciliations. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations. 
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance. 
• Assist with financial audits and tax filings. 
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. 
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives. 
• Assist department heads with specific initiatives, and analysis. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification a plus. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical, PBM, or TPA space 
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. 
• High proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL). 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Experience with QuickBooks and willingness to learn company’s operational systems. 
• Project Management expertise required
