Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Specialty : RN Telemetry

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 07 : 00 PM-07 : 00 AM, including every other weekend, 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM

Guaranteed Hours : N / A

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience

License : Registered Nurse

Certifications :

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIH (National Institutes of Health certification)

Must-Have :

Ability to read telemetry strips

Skills in IV insertion, PICC / Central Line management, CPAP / BiPAP, and trach care

Job Description :

Provide nursing care on the Post Acute Neuro and Oncology units.

Manage and administer medications, including chemotherapy (requires additional certification).

Perform blood administration and manage feeding tubes and continuous bladder irrigation.

Utilize common equipment such as IV Pumps, feeding pumps, dynamaps, medication pyxis, and PCA pumps.

Support a patient ratio of 5 : 1, ensuring quality care and close monitoring.

Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration in a supportive environment.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation using EPIC charting system.

Adhere to the unit's uniform guidelines by wearing galaxy blue scrubs (not provided).

Please note that this position emphasizes a great working environment with consistent and supportive leadership and a focus on teamwork.
