We are a busy and growing CPA firm seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Payroll Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll principles and practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and process timesheet data for various clients.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Prepare and process payroll transactions, including direct deposits.
- Maintain accurate payroll records.
- Generate payroll reports for clients and internal use.
- Stay current on payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding payroll inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Processor or similar role.
- Solid understanding of payroll principles, practices, and relevant legislation.
- Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent data entry and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
