General Summary of Job Duties:
This position is responsible for Greenwave Transportation’s warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate will receive, input, sort, load and unload products.
Specific Essential Job Duties:
- Receive, process, package, label, and ship orders accurately.
- Prepare, verify, and fill customer invoices.
- Maintain clear records on all inventory in stock.
- Enter data in inventory tracking software program.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing products for defects, damages, and deficiencies.
- Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Maintain the daily organization and cleanliness of warehouse space.
- Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise.
- Load delivery vehicles as required.
- Interface with management to ensure key objectives are being met.
- Abide by all company safety and compliance regulations.
- Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required.
- Proven warehouse experience
- Forklift Operation Certification
- Ability to lift and move heavy product

Working Conditions:

The position will spend a significant amount of time driving. This includes being able to sit comfortably for extended periods of time both during a trip and on standby awaiting passengers. Additionally, there will be some bending/stooping, lifting, walking, standing, and carrying of transport items such as luggage, clothing, boxes, and personal effects of the passengers up to 50 pounds.
On-hire times can vary greatly and are dependent on several external factors including the arrival and departure of vessels, airplanes, and ferries, therefore the manager will need to be able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate passenger needs and demand. This can include early morning and late evening requirements.
