Key Requirements :

• Strong background in federal and state statutes that affect the employment relationship.
• Have a strong background in Texas employment litigation and advice and counseling.
• Significant experience with adversary proceedings, including litigating matters in both state and federal courts.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with employment manuals and other relevant employment-related documents.
• Comfort with direct client interaction, including providing legal counseling and advice on employment-related matters.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law for Counsel candidates and 7 years of experience for Senior Counsel candidates.
• Candidates should be an active member and in good standing of the Texas bar.

Position Information :

This position is open to Counsel and Senior Counsel. Advancement decisions will consider multiple factors including the firm's needs, the market dynamics within your area of expertise, and broader economic conditions. The salary range for the Counsel role is $180,000 to $200,000 and the salary range for the Senior Counsel roles is $250,000 to $265,000.
