Join our team as a Deposit Operations Representative I, and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our daily banking operations.
Reporting to our Deposit Operations Manager VP, you’ll be responsible for working with our team to complete research, account level edits, and monitor the general ledger.
Additionally, you’ll work to maintain our deposit product relationships, and will serve as the primary contact person for handling deposit related customer calls, answering questions and researching problems.
Essential Pieces of the Position:
Account Edit
- Edits changes to all deposit applications including certificates (COD), savings (SAV), DDA, CARDS and SDB accounts.
- Edits all Customer Information File (CIF) changes including name and address changes
- Edits new/changes/deletions of stop payments on DDA or SAV; send corrected forms if applicable.
- Edits new/changes/deletions of holds on DDA or SAV; sends corrected forms if applicable.
- Edits the posting of incoming wire transactions
Research
- Answer account inquiries from both internal and external customers.
- Process research requests.
- Process subpoena/legal summons.
General Ledger Reconciliation (RECON)
- Reconcile assigned general ledger or bank DDA accounts.
Request for Account Verifications
- Complete and process account verification requests from 3rd parties
Our Candidate Must Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of computers, excel, word and merge documents.
- The ability to learn quickly and multi-task.
- The ability to handle customer calls in a pleasant, courteous, and timely manner.
- Experience with banking preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:
Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards.
Minimal physical effort required; normally seated with freedom of movement on a regular basis; handling of light materials and supplies.
