Fulfills the mission of Norwich University by contacting and cultivating prospective students for undergraduate, graduate and for-credit continuing education programs in the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies. The Enrollment Specialist is also responsible for data entry, data integrity, and validation of application materials, monitoring of application workflow and system of record to process application decisions and ensure accurate Banner/ERP data, and reaching predetermined enrollment targets tied to department goals.
Remote work is authorized for this position.
Salary: $17.00/hour or more depending on experience.
Essential Functions
- Maintains a working knowledge of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs and the admissions requirements for each.
- Maintains comprehensive understanding of internal Admissions and external admissions partner policies and practices pertaining to application deadlines, transcript collection and document management.
- Manages the overall data workflow to ensure a timely and effective admissions process.
- Handles applications and application processes in a CRM (Salesforce) and across multiple University systems (Banner, OnBase, etc.).
- Develops and executes communication plans to maximize outreach to prospective students.
- Properly maintains and records applicant information to ensure data integrity.
- Understands the transfer of credit process and delivers unofficial degree evaluations.
- Speaks knowledgably on the financial implications and different options available for funding for prospective students.
- Communicates the admissions decision and next steps in the enrollment process.
- Executes high volumes of outreach through multiple resources.
- Collaborates with multiple departments as needed to resolve application processing issues and ensure a smooth transition for incoming students from enrollment to advising.

- Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of customer-focused experience
- Office, business, and CRM system experience a plus
- Military service or familiarity with the military a plus
- Demonstrated accuracy in data entry, integrity, and validation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook)
- Able to sit, stand, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, and use hands and fingers to manipulate related equipment; travel outdoors to various parts of the campus; lift 15 pounds
- Some evening and weekend work required
- Some travel required
