The School of Nursing at Norwich University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer. A dynamic and growing program, the University is seeking to add faculty who are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Teaching assignments include undergraduate courses in the classroom and clinical laboratory, online instruction and clinical teaching within a clinical setting. Additional responsibilities include advising students, curriculum development, program assessments, and university service as may be assigned.

The Nursing program employs innovative teaching resources that include a 9-bed simulation hospital ward, a pediatric simulation center with a baby, toddler and child; high-fidelity man/woman simulator, nursing Anne SimPad plus wireless simulator, a Noelle maternity simulator with newborn and a and a 6-table physical examination center. We are training our students to be global nurse leaders and offer international opportunities to study abroad, conduct community assessments, and experience learning through service and cultural diversity with their Norwich faculty. We encourage interdisciplinary projects within our school with students in architecture, health sciences, engineering and management. A close-knit community, we support each student and each other.

Job Requirements:
Experience in nursing practice, strong clinical skills, and eligibility for a valid Vermont nursing license is required. Candidates must hold a Masters of Science in Nursing, a concentration in Nursing Education and/or CNE is desirable. Candidates with prior teaching are desired.
Candidates currently in a master's in nursing program will be considered.
