Norwood Public Schools is seeking a dynamic candidate with effective instructional delivery techniques to serve as our Secondary Art teacher. The Art Teacher will be responsible for developing in each student an interest in and the ability for creative expression in visual terms, using skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with school guidelines; to develop aesthetic understandings and appreciations; to discover and develop talents of students in the field of art. This position requires the teacher to instruct using the Colorado State Standards as a foundation for what we want students to know and be able to do.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Colorado State Teacher License for Teaching Positions
- Must meet Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) requirements as defined by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
- Must pass a general background check (BCI/FBI)
