Position Overview:As a Robotics Engineer, you will help secure, design, program, and implement robotic systems in advanced manufacturing and automation processes. You will play a key role in integrating robotic solutions, supporting system architecture, and improving the performance and reliability of automated processes.
Key Responsibilities:· Design, develop, and integrate robotic manufacturing and industrial automation systems.
· Program and configure industrial robots (e.g., Yaskawa, FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
· Develop and read electrical schematics and panel layouts using drafting tools (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.).
· Develop and troubleshoot control software and logic for robotic operations.
· Collaborate with controls and electrical engineers on system design and integration.
· Optimize motion control, vision systems, and end-effector design.
· Support system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including robotic cell layouts, interface schematics, and operational manuals.
· Ensure systems meet safety and compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· 3 years of experience in robotic system design and integration.
· Experience programming and configuring industrial robotic platforms.
· Strong knowledge of motion control, sensors, and automation components.
· Proficient in PLC and HMI programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, DeltaV, Siemens, Schneider Electric).
· Familiarity with CAD software and system simulation tools.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with machine vision and AI-based robotics systems.
· Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) and Python/C programming.
· Experience with safety system design and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA).
· Advanced degrees or certifications in robotics or automation are a plus.
