Job Overview
Fine dining restaurant seeking host / hostess. Join the team of one of the top 10 restaurants in Tysons Corner.An ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment. Professional dress and demeanor required. Needs to be detailed-oriented; organizational skills are crucial.

Duties

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
• Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette to assist with reservations and inquiries.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, maintaining positive guest relations.
• Reading reservation notes and confirming guests and parties
• Utilize OpenTable for managing reservations and waitlists efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
