As a small close knit team, we are looking for someone who is able to contribute immediately to our manufacturing work. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to take a high degree of ownership for their work, willing to get creative in suggesting and making improvements, and working with the team to make sure feedback is captured for manufacturing process improvement while above all, promoting and contributing to a safe work environment. As a member of the team you would likely thrive in this role if you have an inclination for working with your hands and with machines, and be flexible in adapting to an ever changing and improving environment.

Responsibilities
As a team player in a small startup, you may be expected to wear many hats, be comfortable with a high level of ambiguity, and be willing to adapt to pivots in direction quickly. As a full-time manufacturing technician, you will be expected to:
- Participate in on-the-job training and take responsibility for learning what you need to know to succeed.
- Work with team members to support production of our products at various stages of the manufacturing process (sand blasting, powder coating, woodshop, assembly, etc)
- Ensure product quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process
- Be able to support manufacturing of production parts (primary focus) and prototypes as needed
- Communicate ideas and feedback to team members through written and/or verbal communication
- Take ownership for production timelines and delivery of quality parts
- Contribute to and help promote a culture of safety, trust, and collaboration on a team whose mission is to make accessibility more accessible through affordable products.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Familiarity with or inclination towards understanding generally how things work.
- Willingness and ability to learn through on the job training how to perform job related tasks including operating basic CNC based machines and other equipment, using basic hand tools, and troubleshooting standard production related issues.
- Ability to read basic part drawings and ensure a part is built to specifications.
- Agreement to follow all safety procedures and rules throughout the facility.
Other Information
- This is a hourly, full-time position starting at $25/hour
- 15 days Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Ability to contribute to and match 401k after 6 months

Salary : $25
