Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Quickbooks, Excel and Outlook.
- Support the team with clerical duties such maintaining and creating spread sheets.
- Ensure all employee files are properly maintained as per OSHA, EEOC and Department of Labor guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in handling employee inquiries, either over the phone, or via email, ensuring prompt and helpful responses.
- Generate and maintain regular reports related to various business functions and ensure accurate data presentation.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, assisting colleagues and promoting team cohesion.
Requirements
- Bi-lingual - English/Spanish is a MUST, as many employees are Spanish speakers.
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role. Experience with payroll is a plus!
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments, showcasing a positive attitude towards new challenges.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and the importance of maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, providing support and sharing knowledge to achieve common goals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
