Job Title: Specialty Biller Coder Role / Coding Trainer
Location: Outpatient Clinic – Dallas, TX 75231 (Remote, with onsite staff meetings at Northpoint)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential to Renew)
Shift: Monday - Friday, between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (40 Hours/week)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Specialty Biller Coder / Coding Trainer to join our team! This 13-week assignment (with potential for renewal) will require a skilled professional to work under the direction of the Director of Coding & Reimbursement THPG and the CRD Coding Trainer Supervisor.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and code assignment by researching payer policies and coding requirements. You will also develop and deliver ongoing training for coding staff and providers, perform internal quality assurance audits, and collaborate with CRD managers to create targeted training materials to improve coding quality.
As the Coding Trainer, you will provide education to clinical staff and physicians on topics such as denials, ICD-10 education, Annual Wellness visits, APP billing, and more. You will act as a subject matter expert for CC1 build concerning coding and documentation requirements.
Required Certifications:- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor), OR CEMC (Certified Evaluation and Management Coder)
