We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a remote position available to residents of California (CA) or Texas (TX), with a flexible shift between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Review, respond to, and process vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.
- Address and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
Accounts Receivable:
- Post payments to customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with collections by preparing reports on delinquent accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and follow up with clients as necessary.
- Process monthly client invoicing and ensure accuracy in billing.
Reporting & Reconciliation:
- Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.
Customer Service:
- Answer incoming phone calls during business hours and assist clients, vendors, and team members with inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Direct calls to appropriate team members and provide prompt follow-up when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related fields.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Adobe.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solve problems effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments.
Benefits:
- Pay starts at $18.00/hour.

Schedule:
- 4-5 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexibility within the 7:00 am-5:00 pm PST timeframe.
