Job Title: Large Project Manager
The Large Project Manager is responsible for providing overall project management, focusing on larger, complex, or fast-track projects. This role involves complete oversight of construction projects, from bid preparation through final client acceptance, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
This position requires the ability to manage, document, and complete projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain customer relationships and represent the company in meetings.
- Provide input during the estimating phase and review the final estimate for project execution.
- Monitor construction to ensure it aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
- Responsible for project financial oversight, budget tracking, and direct profit and loss responsibility.
- Develop and maintain electronic project schedules throughout the project's duration.
- Inform and direct crew leaders to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
- Provide interpretation of drawings, construction method recommendations, equipment selection, and troubleshooting for craft personnel.
- Initiate and maintain contracts, extra work estimating, and change orders.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Windows environment including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering, Business Management or Construction Management.
- Thorough knowledge of piping, plumbing, refrigeration, contract design, estimating, and project management.
