Position Summary:
The Vendor Manager position will play a key role in the Development Process by tracking vendor progress, coordinating and leading regular calls, tracking inventory, coordinating roll out projects, working through RFPs, and other vendor associated tasks. This role will be responsible for keeping the Development team informed of major updates with vendors and communicating with other departments as needed.
The ability to organize and analyze various information to make sound decisions on how to move forward with vendors and projects with those vendors is a must. Experience with Excel or Smartsheets is needed to successfully execute this role.
Accountabilities/Duties:
- Updating tracking spreadsheets
- Ensuring vendors are keeping up with orders and developing pipelines to fulfill future orders
- Ensuring vendors have timely, accurate, and proactive communication with the Development Team and Bakery Owners
- Lead equipment roll outs
- Organizing bi-yearly vendor reviews
- In charge of RFPs, onboarding new vendors, and phasing out vendors as needed
- Liaison with SHIPP

Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail or construction
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and organizational skills
- Experience working with franchise business model and support systems
- Must be proficient in Excel
- An analytical approach, used in a wide range of responsibilities, from identifying red flag issues early on to sharing areas of concern across departments to recognizing and implementing efficiencies in processes
