```Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team at Notre Dame High School. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors. Hours will be M-F, approximately 12:30-7:30pm.
Duties:
- Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while performing duties
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Skills:
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
