What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Delivery Support Specialist position at Nott Company?
Do you like building relationships with customers and growing sales while delivering products to the customer's site? Do you enjoy driving, but want to be home at night? Nott Company is looking for someone who is customer driven, personable, independent, and reliable to deliver products from Bettendorf to our customers in Dubuque and Waterloo using our Company vehicle. No CDL required. Ideally, candidates should be located in the Cedar Rapids, IA area.
What will you be doing?
· Provide customer delivery and bin filling services as directed.
· Monitor bin-fill inventory levels; replenish as needed and liaise with CSR regarding demand changes.
· Submit customer demand utilizing Nott Company ERP and Field Office.
· Professionally interact with designated customer and job site supervisors and provide information to appropriate Nott Company personnel regarding customer requests, questions, or concerns.
· Identify opportunities to develop customer relationships and increase value in Nott Company offering.
· Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for delivery. Load delivery truck based on delivery schedule.
· Perform other warehouse-related duties as required.
· Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
What qualifications do you need to be successful in this role?
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Two years warehousing/material handling experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing company
· Excellent customer service skills
· Self-directed and organized
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Basic computer (ERP) skills
· Ability to drive a forklift
· Valid driver’s license
· Ability to lift 50#
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
