We are pleased to announce the opening for an Advanced Architecture Analyst, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. In this role you will get to define and evaluate Missile Defense System (MDS) capability trade space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
Responsibilities : You’ll be :
Scoping, executing, and documenting the results of MDS architecture trade studies as a member of the Architecture Design Team
Supporting the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to the MDS, as applicable
Supporting the development of alternative architecture concepts addressing projected capability gaps, real world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates
Leading and coordinating the development of architecture requirements, development, and analysis in support of Service and Combatant Commands (CCMD) needs.
Leading, developing, and coordinating MDA vision and strategies to support the Warfighter, including coordinating with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, CCMDs, Intel Community (IC), Other Governmental Agencies (OGA), national labs, Industry and international partners
Supporting the Architecture Design Team to scope and define trade study methodologies, measures and deliverables
Supporting activities of the Architecture Design Team; provides, develops and delivers briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provides comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members
Coordinating future technology requirements across the breadth of MDA and with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, the IC, and OGAs
Coordinating trade study related activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Team and external MDA stakeholders as applicable
Basic Qualifications :
Master's degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree and 20 years of relevant experience
Must be a US Citizen and have / able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures
Preferred Qualifications :
Have detailed knowledge of the MDS to include Command and Control networks
Preferred Navy veteran that held a position such as an Aegis Weapon System EDO or Joint Interface Control Officer, or alternatively an Army / Air Force veteran that understands MDS Elements such as THAAD / LTAMDS / Sentinel / PATRIOT / GMD
Be able to successfully accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
