Automotive Collision Body Shop Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you will repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition. Responsibilities include assessing damage, removing and replacing damaged panels, repairing dents, and performing refinishing work. You will work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results while adhering to safety protocols and customer expectations.

Duties

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage to develop repair plans.
• Repair or replace damaged body parts and panels.
• Sand, grind, and prepare surfaces for painting and finishing.
• Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings with precision.
• Align and straighten frames using specialized equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Proficiency in using repair tools, welding equipment, and paint systems.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Previous experience in auto body repair or related field is encouraged but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.52 - $25.38 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
