Regional Sales Manager North America, Agriculture and Food (Nouryon Surface Chemistry LLC, Chicago, IL) : Responsible for budget development and delivering against financial metrics for Agriculture and Food; Work with the marketing department to develop the regional commercial strategy; Execute against sales plan that expands customer base and extends regional business in line with the Agriculture and Food strategy; Identify and maximize growth and market share opportunities for both existing products and innovations; Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs; Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships; Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled; Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop mitigation plan; Ensure company sales targets are met and new company cultural standards are established by holding weekly team check-ins to monitor progress; Manage and develop the technical service resources embedded in the commercial team. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks : Management experience in B2B environment; Experience working in the Agrochemical Industry; Customer and field experience implementing sales strategies; Experience managing and working with a team; Understanding of the agricultural and agrochemicals value chain; Ability to comprehend market and competition landscape; Strategic contract negotiation experience; Experience building and managing relationships; Experience managing price and closing deals including multi-level contact selling and manage contracts; Experience compiling and analyzing data and presenting it in an audience-targeted manner, both orally and in writing; Experience identifying business opportunities and articulating high-quality value propositions. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Agronomy or related field, and at least five years of experience as a Sales Manager, Marketing Manager or similar occupation.
