As a Team Lead Outfitting, your key responsibilities will include :
- Leading an outfitting engineering team during the basic and detailed engineering phases of shipbuilding projects.
- Overseeing the detailed engineering of outsourced packages, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Advising on work breakdown structures and effectively allocating man-hour budgets.
- Delivering high-quality engineering work on time, meeting project requirements.
- Supervising engineering team activities within 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or Catia.
- Integrating vendor and subcontractor information, performing technical analysis on offers, and supporting design checks and reviews.
- Monitoring and controlling man-hours spent and providing progress reports to the Project Manager Engineering.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and specifications.
- Contributing to the department's development by developing and describing standards and working methods.
