What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air and Reference Assembler II - Second Shift position at Nova Biomedical Corporation?
Nova Biomedical is hiring an Air and Reference Assembler II on the Second Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM - This includes a 10% Shift Differential) in our Waltham, MA facility. This person is responsible for the processing of various reference sensors, air detectors and non-sensing devices for both core and OEM analyzers. This person will perform routine and complex assembly operations as well as product prototypes/pilots for engineering as required. The candidate must have the ability to work independently and efficiently and manufacture only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules. Other responsibilities include:
- Ability to work with various epoxies, solvent, and chemicals as required during assembly
- Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product
- Must have the ability to set up and operate a variety of production equipment such as automatic dispensing equipment, UV adhesive systems, ultrasonic welders, laser coders, soldering irons and leak testers.
- Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and related documentation to assemble various product is required
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
- Good math skills
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Air and Reference Detector Assembler I skills
- QSR/ISO regulations; AP, TP, OI, and OP training and are a plus
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit/stand for long periods of time, grip small hand tools, good hand eye coordinator, and visual acuity
Education/Experience:
- High School/Trade School diploma
- Minimum 7 years of Manufacturing experience or 5 years of Manufacturing experience and full Qualification of Air/Reference/Detector Assembler II skills
