Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, teaching hospitals, and clinics. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients, particularly those requiring assistance with daily living activities.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to enhance client independence.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to promote a comfortable living space.
Skills
- Experience in Geriatrics or Medical-surgical settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Emergency medicine protocols is beneficial.
- Ability to provide care in an inpatient setting or during home visits.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is advantageous.

Pay: $16.77 - $18.00 per hour
