General Laborer / Shop Hand 2nd Shift

Overview: The Crew-Tech will assist with the maintenance of company trucks, flatbed trailers and other equipment. This will include such responsibilities as but not limited to: Repair tarps, truck cleaning/detailing, shop and yard cleaning/organizing, running for parts and other errands and duties as needed. As a Crew-Tech you'll have a customer service frame of mind especially when it pertains to our diesel techs, drivers and contractors. Possess communication skills, along with a can-do attitude and the desire to work until the job is done and be hands on in the shop when needed. Must be organized and efficient and have the desire to complete tasks quickly without constant supervision.

Detailed Duties:

• Detail truck interior including the cleaning of refrigerators and cabin filters
• Provide support to other technicians when needed.
• Label trucks/trailers with Nova Lines logo decal and other needed stickers
• Install head racks and deer guards with assistance from other crew-tech's
• Install inverters, samsara dash camera
• Install /change mud flaps as needed
• Load tarps to trailers when in ready line
• Inbound trailers and equip them with needed securement
• Parts pick up- (clean driving record and valid DL is a must- CDL is a plus!)
• Keep the shop clean and always organized
• Work a schedule of 3 pm to 11:30 pm Monday-Friday
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must have general mechanical experience
• Solid Communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Safety orientated towards the equipment and yourself
• Must be able to lift more than 70 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work overtime when needed
