What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer (overnight shift) position at Summit Skilled Solutions?
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring General Laborers (with strong backs) for the OVERNIGHT shift on an Amazon conveyor project in Romeoville, IL starting this Friday 2/7. General Laborers would be responsible for removing and installing slats and a chains on the sorter of a conveyor system. We are looking for muscle! Candidates will need to be able to lift and carry heavy materials along a catwalk. Schedule is working 3/12s 5p-5a Fri-Sun.
General Laborer Qualifications
- Strong back
- Capable of lifting and carrying materials for conveyors
- MUST have PPE including a hard hat, high-vis vest/shirt and steel toe boots
- Must be able and willing to work Fri-Sun 5p-5a (overnight)
General Laborer Duties
- Removing and installing slats and a chains on the sorter of a conveyor system
- Carry heavy conveyor materials along the catwalk
- Other duties as need
General Laborer Compensation/Benefits
- $25/hr
- Paid for 36-hours Fri-Sun 3/12s
- Direct deposit
