Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. This role is essential in overseeing landscaping projects and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of landscapers, managing daily operations, and ensuring the successful execution of landscaping projects.

Duties

• Supervise and lead a team of landscaping professionals in various tasks including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and groundskeeping.
• Plan and execute landscaping projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
• Oversee the irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Train team members on best practices in landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage the maintenance of tools and equipment used in landscaping tasks.
• Build relationships with clients by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of garden care, tree care, landscape maintenance, and lawn care practices.
• Ability to supervise effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both team members and clients.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is preferred.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
