Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Human Resource Manager to join our growing plastic surgery practice. This individual will play a key role in managing all HR functions, ensuring the successful recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development of our team as we scale from 30 employees to 6080 employees across multiple locations.
The HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies that drive employee engagement, track KPIs, and create an exceptional workplace culture. This role also includes overseeing compliance, payroll administration, and compensation plans.
- Develop and post job descriptions tailored to the practice's needs.
- Actively manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and screening resumes.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate follow-up interviews with leadership and department heads.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
- Design and implement an efficient onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure new employees understand practice policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Facilitate new hire training and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assist managers in providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and track employee performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual and team performance.
- Research and recommend competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Design and implement incentive plans aligned with company goals, such as revenue growth and retention.
- Regularly evaluate and update plans to ensure alignment with industry standards and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and support the practice's growth.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws.
- Work closely with the bookkeeper and leadership to manage payroll budgets.
- Coordinate ongoing training programs and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of learning and advancement within the practice.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 35 years in HR management, preferably in a healthcare or multi-location business environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll systems, compensation strategies, and incentive plan design.
- Proficient in HR software and tools for recruiting, onboarding, and performance tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
