ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking an experienced and team-orientated sales person to help drive our continued growth. You will run all aspects of the sales process from prospecting and managing inbound inquiries all the way to close and where relevant program account management. You will bring the cross-functional resources of Nova (engineering, operations, finance, and others) together to identify and evaluate prospects securing new accounts. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and initiative, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across both internal and external teams. We are specifically targeting brands, live events, theme parks, and sponsorship industries in the US and EU. Knowledge of marketing at trade shows and conventions is a plus.
The Sky Story industry is still young and growing, and so there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We are open minded to finding the right individuals who can continue to grow this industry. Preference will be given to those with brand/agency relationships and live events experience.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the inbound sales process
- Track and manage the sales pipeline
- Develop outbound sales initiatives across our target industries
- Develop 3rd party “reseller” relationships
- Build show budgets
- Develop sales collateral
- Create SOW agreements
- Manage Client relationships developing timelines and key benchmarks
- Oversee weekly sales meetings
- Assist in the development of marketing initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience in sales and/or operations related to live events, theme parks, or sponsorships
- Proven ability to take projects from concept all the way through to close
- Knowledge of sales tools and CRM programs/processes
- Ability to create sales collateral such as pitches & decks
- Knowledge of the RFP process
