ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking an experienced and team-orientated Creative Director to continue to advance this new medium for storytelling. You will work with our customers and partners to craft proposals for innovative and inspiring stories, and collaborate with our world-class Nova Design Studio to bring these concepts to life. While we have customers across a range of mediums (theme parks, music, art), we are especially interested in those with experience working with cultural storytelling (tourism, heritage sites). You will bring the cross-functional resources of Nova (engineering, operations, finance, and others) together to push the boundaries of the medium. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and initiative, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across both internal and external teams.
The Sky Story industry is still young and growing, and so there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We are open minded to finding the right individuals who can continue to grow this industry.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop proposals for long-term shows/residencies
- Work directly with clients and the Nova Design Studio to bring concepts to life
- Guide projects through from concept to realization

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of experience in storytelling, cultural preservation, and/or creative entertainment
- Experience telling stories about culture, preferably with an anthropology or historical focus
- Proven ability to take projects from concept all the way through to close
- Ability to create sales collateral such as pitches & decks
- Open-minded approach with learning and humility at the core
