2. Compiles and analyzes financial information from all modules of the Banner ERP system, and develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, reports, and presentations.
3. Analyzes, designs, and documents internal financial reporting systems and the related procedures.
4. Develops solutions for complex reporting issues to assist with improving business processes and reporting.
5. Analyzes, designs, and documents various account analysis for the statement of financial position and reasonableness tests for the statement of activity.
6. Assists with the research of unidentified deposits received, ensuring timely identification and recording.
7. Assists with the annual internal cost study in collaboration with manager.
8. Assists with the quadrennial Facilities and Administrative (F&A) proposal.
9. Assists with the various Federal Annual Operating Reports (AORs) related to student financial aid.
10. Designs, coordinates, and delivers training programs related to reporting applications and relative operating policies and procedures.
11. Performs other job duties as assigned or required.
1. Advanced knowledge of MS Access and/or other database reporting tools.
2. Advanced knowledge of excel functions.
3. High level understanding of data structures and relationships.
4. Advanced knowledge and experience using query and reporting tools, such as SQL to access databases with ability to access and manipulate data from a variety of computer platforms and databases.
5. Knowledge of the principles, processes, and standards for integrated and cross-functional financial analysis.
6. Knowledge of Banner Student and Financial modules.
7. Accounting – Working knowledge of non-profit GAAP accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
8. Knowledge of Federal and State financial regulations.
