What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician **Part-Time position at Novak Animal Care Center?
Novak Animal Care Center is an AAHA Accredited 3 doctor small animal practice looking for a part-time kennel technician to join our team!
The candidate we are looking for should be outgoing, positive, enthusiastic, compassionate, and not afraid to get dirty! You'll need to be professional, trustworthy, self-starting, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. Possessing a team-player mentality and having a passion for pets is a must! Prior experience working in a boarding facility is preferred, but not required.
- Basic duties include: Providing daily care for boarded patients and assisting with facility maintenance. Prepping paperwork for boarding appointments, cleaning cages and runs, bathing, grooming, exercising, feeding, administering medication, and monitoring the behavior of boarded dogs/cats.
**Average 24 hours per week. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required as well as a significant amount of standing and moving.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
