We are looking for an experienced dental assistant, dental front desk, or phlebotomist who loves being optimistic, enjoys problem solving and is proactive.
We are looking for someone to work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team at a busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office and enhancing patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- If phlebotomist - draw blood samples from patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing information.
- Assist with medical coding and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and assist as needed during procedures.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures when needed
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment when needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays to help the back as needed
Skills
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant, or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential for effective communication with both patients and staff.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all documentation processes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and schedules.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients, especially in pediatrics settings.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
