- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Financial Management: Collect co-pays and post charges accurately, maintaining up-to-date patient balance processing.
- Information Distribution: Provide patients with essential information regarding office policies, procedures, and practice details.
- Patient Portal Support: Explain the benefits of the patient portal and assist patients in enrolling and navigating the system.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain organized records and assist with other front office functions to support the smooth operation of the practice.
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Completion of a medical office assistant program.
- Required: A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting, demonstrating strong customer service and administrative skills.
- Preferred: Certification in healthcare management or administration.
