Job Description

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Job Specialty : RRT PICU

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)

Guaranteed Hours :

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : NC or Compact license (must be in hand at time of start)

Certifications : BLS, PALS, NRP (Must have RRT credential)

Must-Have :

Experience with PICU
Skills in Monitoring, Vent Management, O2 Therapy, and Drawing ABGs

Job Description :

Responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in PICU and NICU environments.

Float as required throughout the pediatric units and floors.

Required to work every third weekend.

Handle special procedures with a focus on 50% - 60% PICU cases daily.

Operate specialized equipment such as Servo I ventilators.

Participate in unit orientation and complete mandatory modules.

Work involves daily interactions with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.

Participation in call duties may be required based on workload.

Accommodate schedule changes per unit needs, with no possibility for block scheduling.

Adhere to policy restrictions for scheduled time off and holiday work requirements.

Additional Information :

Experience in neonates and infants, as well as ground transport, is preferred.

RTO requested after booking is not allowed and cannot be arranged onsite.
