- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with Novant Health’s mission and strategic objectives. Provide visionary leadership to the recruitment team, driving strategic initiatives that enhance talent acquisition effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire the talent acquisition team. Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement. Implement best practices in recruitment, performance management, and professional development to build a high-performing team.
- Operational Excellence: Design, implement, and oversee scalable and repeatable talent acquisition processes across the organization. Ensure consistency, elevate operational efficiency, and refine existing programs to meet evolving business needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, HR leaders, and system-wide leaders to integrate talent acquisition strategies seamlessly into broader organizational initiatives. Enhance collaboration and build robust cross-functional relationships to support strategic talent goals.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced analytics and data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and drive change management efforts. - Diversity and Inclusion: Drive initiatives to attract and retain diverse talent, ensuring alignment with Novant Health’s commitment to reflecting the communities we serve. Develop strategies to foster an inclusive recruitment process and promote diversity across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead and support strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition, including workforce planning, employer branding, and talent pipeline development. Provide analytical support and insights to contribute to the overall success of Novant Health’s talent strategies.
- Talent Projects Leadership: Drive strategic talent projects from discovery through implementation, including redesigning new hire orientation, developing national campaigns for critical positions, and aligning key recruiting tools with emerging trends. Ensure projects are executed effectively and meet organizational objectives.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage a team of talent acquisition professionals to achieve operational success. Provide candid coaching, set clear expectations, and hold the team accountable through performance management. Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving recruitment goals.
- Data Analysis and Presentation: Source, analyze, and synthesize data to drive strategic decisions and improvements. Present insights and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on talent acquisition and market trends. Stay informed on industry developments and leverage this knowledge to guide strategic decisions and enhance recruitment efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from senior leaders, stakeholders, and peers. Use feedback to refine strategies and drive success. Prepare and deliver presentations to influence
- Talent Strategy Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals. Ensure strategies are effectively implemented and adjusted based on changing needs and market conditions.
- Escalation Management: Manage and resolve leader escalations with a focus on effective resolution. Assess and address escalations by engaging with stakeholders and HR partners to implement effective solutions.
- Compliance and Policy Management: Oversee adherence to human resources policies and Department of Labor standards. Ensure all talent acquisition practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organization in a clear, inclusive, and impactful manner.
- Inclusion and Belonging: Cultivate an inclusive and supportive work environment. Promote a culture of belonging and ensure all team members feel valued and engaged.
- Education: BS or BA degree in human resources, business or related field of study, required. Graduate degree, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of successful and progressively responsible supervisory/management experience, required.
