Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing the physical and administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
- Prepares and maintains paper and electronic records of products shipped.
- Examines stocks and distributes materials to stocking locations and manufacturing lines as needed to support production needs.
General Tasks
- Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
- Experience with an integrated ERP system (Oracle and Exact Max preferred).
- Possess an outstanding work ethic, sense of ownership, attention to detail, and an eye for quality at every step.
- Experience with UPS and Federal Express Shipping Systems: US and International.
- Requires good math, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Team player: ability to have a good relationship with others in a busy stockroom/shipping receiving environment.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- 2-4 years of Shipping/Receiving experience.

- Lifting up to 50 pounds, standing long periods of time as well as I required by the job
