The Role
As Chief Estimator, you will lead the estimating department, modernizing operations and driving accurate bids for large-scale steel projects. You will manage a team of 3-4 estimators, utilizing cutting-edge tools to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & mentor the estimating team
- Implement modern software & automation tools
- Estimate for large-scale projects (railways, motorways, signage, civil works)
- Collaborate with project management & leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10 years of experience in structural steel estimating
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Proficiency with modern estimating software
- Deep knowledge of structural & miscellaneous steel processes
- Collaborative & forward-thinking attitude
