The Role

In this role, you’ll lead the estimating department, overseeing the preparation of detailed and accurate project cost estimates. You’ll collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and suppliers, ensuring every project stays on budget while maintaining the highest quality.

The Company
Our client is an industry leader, family-owned AISC certified structural steel fabricator. They have been well established in Florida and specialize in a broad range of complex build projects with a commitment to precision, quality, and safety.
You will be responsible for:
- Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
- Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and materials to determine accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with suppliers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Track and manage bid submissions, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Lead and mentor the estimating team, ensuring best practices and consistency in project evaluations.
