About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the estimating department of a leading steel fabrication company. As Chief Estimator, you will be responsible for modernizing operations and driving accurate bids for large-scale steel projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 estimators
- Implement modern software and automation tools
- Evaluate and estimate large-scale projects such as railways, motorways, signage, and civil works
- Collaborate with project management and leadership teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in structural steel estimating
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with modern estimating software
- Deep knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel processes
- Collaborative and forward-thinking attitude
