Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Novelis Global Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, and Automation team is seeking a Reliability Intern. The person in this role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Reliability Manager. This intern will manage projects with accurate status and risks outlined. The outcome of this internship will be updated risk identification and health status of critical equipment. This internship will start in May 2025 and will end in August 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Project / portfolio management of Large Motors conversion from DC to AC
- Support to our Advanced Predictive Maintenance project: Support and follow up on alarms of existing projects and refinement of standards for new projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- Electrical Eng (but will consider mechanical) , Sophomore or Junior
- Good understanding of how machines work
- Great organization and presentation skills
- Above average knowledge of MS Excel,
- Knowledge of PowerPoint
- easily able to learn new applications
