NOVO Culinary Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our innovative team at NOVO L.L.C. In this dual role, you will not only be crafting our signature smoothie bowls, smoothies, and juices but also engaging directly with customers to ensure their experience is top-notch. Your responsibilities will span both the kitchen and front-of-house operations, making you a pivotal part of our daily success.
Responsibilities
Food Preparation : Skillfully prepare and assemble a variety of smoothie bowls, smoothies, and juices according to our precise recipes. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and meet our high standards of quality.Customer Interaction : Greet customers with enthusiasm, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Communicate directly with customers about their preferences and dietary needs.Order Fulfillment : Efficiently manage the flow of orders from kitchen to customer, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality.Cleanliness : Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations. Also, assist in keeping the front-of-house areas tidy.Inventory and Supplies : Monitor inventory levels for both kitchen ingredients and front-of-house supplies, report shortages to management, and assist in restocking.Team Collaboration : Work seamlessly with both kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow. Be ready to step in where needed to support the team.Innovation : Participate in the development and testing of new menu items, contributing your ideas to our menu evolution.Requirements
Experience : Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.Skills :Multitasking : Ability to handle kitchen duties while also managing customer interactions in a fast-paced setting.Customer Service : Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and provide outstanding service.Attention to Detail : Precision in food preparation and presentation, as well as in handling customer orders.Physical Stamina : Capable of standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require moderate physical effort.Education : High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or nutrition education is a plus.Additional Information
