Essential Job Responsibilities
- Work within a fast-paced team-driven environment, including following instructions and meeting deadlines.
- Perform outbound and inventory control activities to maintain the highest level of quality and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain high standards of safety throughout operations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards; provide housekeeping in the work area (straighten labels, sweep debris, empty trash cans, etc.).
- Assist employees with day-to-day operations as directed.
- Accountable for any pallets scanned in the verifier’s name.
- Do not mark any pallets while logged into the scan gun.
- Communicate with forklift drivers (stand up/sit down).
- Maintain a steady and consistent workflow in the work area.
- Understand that any findings from customer(s) and partner(s) are treated as extremely serious.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse work instructions, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds and levels of management.
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude towards members of management, coworkers, customers, partners, and other visitors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and/or under stressful situations.
- Ability to proactively problem solve.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods or for duration of shift (8-12 hour shifts).
Education, Experience, and Certification
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of warehouse experience, preferred
