Thisposition works under general supervision as part of a team responsible for the quality control processes performed in a GMP-compliant manufacturing facility. All team members must be mindful of production timelines while supporting the achievement of quality, safety, sales and production goals.

In this role you'll make a difference by:

• Performing all required in-house quality control testing on samples for approval and in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions, etc.

• Performingenvironmental monitoring of the facility

• Actively participatingin all internal safety programs and adheres to all relevant safety guidelines

• Utilizingaseptic techniques to ensure sterility of all media, equipment, and work area

• Performingroutine equipment calibrations or verifications (e.g., scales, pH meters) in compliance with testing and production parameters

• Completingproduction journals, batch records and/or lab requisitions

• Keepingdetailed and accurate records in appropriate company database (SAP, LIMS) of all conducted tests, evaluation, and analyses

• Communicatingany testing nonconformance to relevant stakeholders e.g., QC Management, PMG, QA, Production, as necessary

• Assistingwith training and onboarding of staff in areas of attained proficiency

• Keepinglab and work area clean and orderly

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or related field (Preferred)

• A basic understanding of microbiology, chemistry and practical application of general laboratory skills

• Excellent communication, organizational, planning, problem-solving and follow-up skills

• The ability to handle multiple, rapidly changing priorities and handle unanticipated events without losing sight of core responsibilities

• Incorporate a sense of urgency for initiation, completion, and communication of testing results and findings

• Work effectively as an individual or team player in a diverse work group
