What we offer:
This person will report directly to the RAM Engineering Manager and will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and production equipment for Novonix Anode Materials, LLC. They will be supportive in making sure the facilities are safe, up to code, and fully operational. They will also play a key role in troubleshooting and maintaining first of its kind production equipment. In the role of Maintenance Associate, you will be joining a world-class Engineering team that is delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.
Work is performed primarily at the Riverside plant but travel to other plants may be required. Working environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors. The noise level in the work environment can be noisy.

Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance items.
- Assisting with maintaining all spare component inventory and ensuring proper storage.
- Reviewing, modifying, and drafting maintenance documentation.
- Maintaining function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by adhering to a preventive maintenance program.
- Conducts safety inspections as scheduled.
- Improves function equipment by studying performance results, identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and practices on-site.
- Other duties as assigned
- 3 Years’ Experience in Maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, thermal, or hydraulic systems
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working in confined spaces or elevated areas
- Able to work well with cross functional teams
- A highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative
- Well organized and invested in the details
- Able to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization
- Resourceful when it comes to solving problems
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing environments
- An effective communicator
- Certificate or Degree in Maintenance or Engineering
- Experience performing maintenance on thermal systems
- Knowledge/History of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Dealing with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Familiar with NEC codes/rules
- Experience with pneumatic conveyance equipment
- Experience/Knowledge of chilled water systems
- HVAC training and or license
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Programs
- OSHA 10 or 40 training
