Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Manager to oversee the property management and janitorial operations of our organization. As Property Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Your expertise in property management and janitorial services will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall efficiency, appearance, and functionality of our properties.
Responsibilities:
- Property Management:
- Develop and implement effective property management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Coordinate and oversee repair and maintenance activities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other infrastructure.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to property maintenance, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
- Monitor and control expenses related to property maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate records of property-related information, including leases, contracts, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
- Janitorial Services:
- Develop and implement comprehensive janitorial programs to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene of the facilities.
- Manage janitorial staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and enforce cleaning standards and protocols to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Monitor and evaluate janitorial supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning services as required.
- Respond to and resolve janitorial-related issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and local building codes.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Train employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Budgeting and Reporting:
- Develop and manage the facility management budget, including property maintenance, janitorial services, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Property Management, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Facility Manager, Property Manager, or similar role, with a focus on property management and janitorial services.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, building systems, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with janitorial standards, cleaning techniques, and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, emergency procedures, and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
