Position: Accounting Manager

Location: Tucson, AZ - Onsite

Compensation: $100,000-$110,000

We are looking for a seasoned Accounting Manager to join a leading construction company. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing financial operations, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and leading the financial team to optimize processes and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including receivables and payables.
- Conduct routine financial tasks and manage the end-of-month financial closure.
- Enhance and streamline monthly closing processes and perform detailed analytical reviews.
- Prepare and evaluate financial computations, accruals, and comprehensive reports.
- Develop detailed financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Simplify complex financial analyses for clear presentation.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial statements for management evaluation.
- Standardize financial practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Implement innovative systems to boost departmental productivity and accuracy.
- Resolve intricate financial issues and update policies for operational improvement.
- Communicate and enforce financial policies throughout the organization.
- Ensure precise and compliant payroll processing.
- Leverage technology to enhance financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with over 5 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel, is required.
- Strong leadership qualities and high integrity are crucial.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, process orientation, and the ability to follow through.
