Position Overview:
NOW CFO is seeking a meticulous and experienced AR/AP Manager to lead and manage our accounts receivable and accounts payable teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial operations are executed with precision and efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee a team of three professionals, ensuring the seamless execution of daily financial tasks and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of three, split between accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Inspect accounting transactions for efficiency and accuracy
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to AR/AP
- Setting Objectives and KPIs for AP/AR
Financial Operations:
- Oversee daily operations, including but not limited to running financial reports, managing AR balances, and ensuring timely processing of AP transactions.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve chargebacks and work closely with the Legal team on overdue collections.
- Preparing documentation for external auditors
- Ensuring timely collections and payments
- Vendor/Customer relationship management
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Engage in cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment on financial processes and objectives.
- Coordinate workflow and financial integration for new entities as part of business acquisitions.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure NOW CFO remains at the forefront of financial management.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of managerial experience in a financial setting.
- 4-5 years of direct experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience (3-5 years in Accounting)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B or Business to Client environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations during business acquisitions.
