Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for managing the companys accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor payments. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks and a strong understanding of AP processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval.
- Manage vendor payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain AP records, including invoices, purchase orders, and payment confirmations.
- Assist with month-end closing by reconciling AP sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
- Prepare and process ACH and check payments in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices.
